Keryx

Privacy policy

How Keryx handles information on the device.

Effective 20 September 2026. Publisher: Source Control.

1. Who we are

Source Control publishes Keryx. Privacy questions can be sent through the contact form.

2. What Keryx is

Keryx is a phone companion for site administrators. After scanning a site QR, it receives operational alerts and keeps a local history on the device.

3. Information processed on the device

  • Provisioning details — connection settings from the site QR
  • Alert history — titles, bodies, timestamps, and related metadata
  • App state — settings such as pause and local cleanup flags

Alert content is created by the site that sends it. It may include operational details. Source Control does not sell Keryx user data.

4. Permissions

  • Camera — scan a site QR
  • Notifications — present alerts
  • Network — receive alerts from the site service

5. Lock screen and notifications

Operating-system notifications may show alert text on a locked device. Use device passcodes and notification privacy settings that fit the workplace.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

  • Configuration and history stay on the device.
  • Resetting or uninstalling the app clears local data. It does not revoke access on the site service.
  • Device backups may include app data unless the app is excluded from backup.

7. Sharing

Sharing happens only as needed to operate the service (the site that sends alerts, and platform push providers when push is used). Support intake should omit secrets.

8. Rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, including GDPR where it applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority. For data stored on the device, use in-app reset or uninstall. For site-side records, contact the organization that operates the site.

9. Children

Keryx is intended for adult administrators. It is not directed to children.

10. Product limits

Keryx is a business administrator tool. It is not a medical device and not a certified emergency-dispatch system. Notifications are supplemental.

11. Changes
